We arrived at Wahweap RV Campground here in Page, AZ around 6pm Tuesday evening. Our new 'home' for the next 3 days or so...
Our site has great tree shade and a nice spacious site with a cement pad, picnic table & fire ring.... we are close to all the things we want to see and visit here... so stay tuned for great pics and news...
This is the view from our campsite - pretty sweet.
All our dogs came down to the water area with us to photograph 'Lone Rock' at Lake Powell right down the street from our campground - Luey loved digging in the sand - like a true terrier.
This area is just to the right of Lone Rock - look closely to see the RV's Boondocking at the shoreline there (click on photo to enlarge).
The Lone Rock sits in Lake Powell - if you look closely (click on photo to enlarge) you can see an SUV vehicle between two bath houses - this gives you a feel for the "scale" of this rock. the area is popular as a 'Boondocking' campsite and swimming and boating area.
