Visiting yet more wineries here in Cottonwood

This afternoon we dropped into the Alcantara Winery here in Cottonwood for a Wine Festival that they were having - with music, food, and festivities. They were celebrating the bottling of their newest Red Zin - named "Zinful" see poster above our heads.. - Pearl, Cheryl, Co & Flo send a toast to all of you...

This is a wide view of the winery with all the vines.

Here are some of their 'baby' grapes on the vine - we're coming back this way in the fall and hope to see these little babies all full and juicy (or maybe already pressed into wine).

Here is our 'free' wine glass for a $10 fee of 5 tastings. Wine was expensive and not one that we would buy - but the desert Semillion was one that Flo loved.

This is one of the crafty things that we discovered that you can do with a used wine bottle - poke a hole in the back of the bottle and put white lights inside the bottle and then 'plug lights into socket' - for a lovely table decoration around the holidays or anytime.... we love it!!
