Well this is day one of our Great Summer of 2011 Adventure. We left our home in Apache Junction, Az at 10am today and hit the road with our girls Blanche and Lucy and our friends Co & Flo and their pets.We will be living in our little 28 ft. RV for the next 5 to 6 months visiting friends and the beautiful US and Canada - we will stay in touch via this blog as often as we can to bring you along with us 'vicariously' on this adventure.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we know we will.
Our friends Colette (Co) and Flo and their companion pets - Simba the cat and Luey the Morkeypoo (Maltese/Yorkie) are our traveling buddies for this summer adventure. And we are so happy that they are traveling with us as they are seasoned campers and have lots of great experience to add to this adventure.
As you can see their RV is much bigger than ours - plus they are also towing their car along)
Our first night in Cottonwood, we were treated to a beautiful Full Moon. So Co & I went to a high spot at the Campground and shot a few images of the moon rising over our campsites. the lights below the Pine Trees are campers lights in the woods here - a lovely sight.
