Gold Canyon Gingerbread Festival Portraits

The Portraits that I shot for this Gingerbread Festival was a fundraiser for CASA - an organization that assists children that are in the Foster Care system here in the Phoenix area.

My favorites are the "outakes" of course - when children are just kids and do what they do..

Halloween Decorating with Tyler & Ethan

Just before we left Colorado we helped the family decorate the house for Halloween - Tyler looked so cute in the Witch's hat and Ethan helped by putting all the pumpkins in the right places.

Ethan turns 2 years old !!

Every year -(so far) Ethan and I have shared our October birthdays together - this year we sang happy birthday at a wonderful Japanese Restaurant near their home - and then Ethan got a great Train Table set for his birthday gift this year.

Visiting the Pumpkin Festival with Tyler and Ethan

The day started out drizzling but we were determined to enjoy the festival - well it cleared for 2 hrs. The sun came out long enough to watch Tyler have her face painted - Ethan chase bubbles - both go on a fun barrel tractor ride - Tyler play hula hoop (really well!) and even get a quick family portrait done ....

Blanche & Lucy visit Red Rocks

While Tyler was at school - we took Ethan riding around the Denver area and stopped at Red Rock Park to take in the view and beauty....

Backyard Bubbles Fun with Tyler and Ethan

We bought a couple of bubble guns and Cheryl shot off bubbles while the kids chased the bubbles - Ethan had a blast chasing them while Tyler took turns blasting the bubbles with the gun.

Gary's Football team - The Patriots

While visiting Denise & Gary and the kids we went to watch the team that Gary coaches play a game. Because it was Oct (Breast Cancer Awareness month) - the players wore pink uniforms and they painted a breast cancer pink ribbon on the field along with a banner to support breast cancer. Good job boys!!

Madrid, New Mexico 2010

While visiting Albuquerque, we wandered some of the back roads and found a cute little town named Madrid. We enjoyed shopping in many of the little shops in Madrid - a charming historical town.
We found many restaurants and bars in here - this one had Al-Fresco dining with entertainment - a great little western / jazz quartet

This is an old Coal Mine shaft in Madrid. Madrid produced the most coal that was used in the west from the early 1900's till about 1930.

Balloon Fiesta Fireworks - Albuquerque, New Mexico

After the Evening Glow where the Balloons would light up the night - the Fiesta would set off about 40min. worth of the most magnificent fireworks we have ever seen.

Firework Extravagaza

Check out these beautiful fireworks that we saw.

Variety of looks to the fireworks

Every explosion was different from the one before
