Blanch & Lucy Enjoy Life on the Farm

We are still visiting Judy and Marlene and their Tennessee Walker horses at Willow Tree  Lane

Not sure if you can make out the 'Welcome' in this sign - but our friends have made us feel more than welcome in their home.

We've had a couple of rainy days here -  we know that this is why everything is so green and lush.  The couple of rainy days didn't damper our trip at all.  Work on the farm continues anyway we learn even with a little dampness.   Cheryl helped the girls as they take on the job of clearing their land after some of the trees were taken down.
Bonnie watches while Cheryl & Marlene fill in the coral with the mulch leftover from the trees that were cut down on their property.

After Marlene dumps the mulch - Cheryl goes in and spreads it evenly.
Here Marlene hauls a load of mulch over to the coral
Blanche & Lucy keep a watchful eye on the workers.
After a long hard day - Marlene comes in for a sandwich.
Judy & Bonnie's three beautiful horses are resting in the sun.
Bonnie rolls around on the grass and rubs her back the same way our pups do - very cute... the other two horses - Chet & Glory - are looking at her as if to say "hey Bon - we're having our portrait done here knock it off ".....
Blanche and Lucy love being around the horses - here Bonnie comes to greet the girls in the AM.
Bonnie has highlights in her hair naturally that we pay big bucks to get.
We found Bonnie to be the most curious and social - coming quickly for a pat on the nose and a carrot too.
Glory is the eldest of the 'girls' at 23yr young she's still a beauty.
