George Washington's Mount Vernon Estates in Alexandria Virginia.
On Sunday we spent all day visiting Mt Vernon.
This is the entryway to the estates. Dogs were permitted all over the grounds except inside the buildings. So we took turns touring the different buildings.
The girls had fun playing with all the dogs they met along the way - even another little Westie named Lexie who was only 3yr.
They enjoyed their history lesson for the day. It took several hours to tour the grounds and they were very tired little girls by the time we got back to camp around 6:30pm.
