A day of Perfect Assensions

Here's a collection of some of my favorite Balloon Assensions.

All the Comforts of Home

Even though we did not have hot water hookups - they provided trailers with wonderful sanitary showers for us (for a price) anytime we wanted - I did cave and took advantage of them once - Bird Bath cleaning just didn't cut it by the 3rd day.

Fireworks at the Balloon fiesta were the Best!

Every evening after the Night Glow - they had Fireworks - which were amazing.

Evening Night Glow

Every evening at sunset they had "Night Glow" where they would blow up the balloons and light the fire into the balloons to make them glow - all set to music.

Lots of time to be silly

After a few days of sleep deprivation we were more than silly

Pre-Dawn Patrol

Most mornings we were up at 4am to watch the Dawn Patrol take off and begin to light up the sky.

Balloons over our RVs

Every morning balloons flew right over our campers - these are our RV's below the flight route

Fun Balloons

Novelty & Character Balloons were abundant - but I still loved the pure oval colorful balloons best.

No matter where we looked we saw beautiful balloons rising into the sky.

Zebra's Galore

The "Zebra's" were the FAA of the Balloon Fiesta - directing all balloons when it was their turn to 'lift'.

Balloons so close we could touch them

Balloons were blowing up all around us.

The Zebras (gal in the middle) are the people who coached each balloon into the air so as not to 'bump' into any other balloons
